East Coast Tactical Medicine (TECC Connecticut) was founded with one primary objective, preparing civilians, first responders, and all the men and women who dedicate themselves to protecting and serving our general community, to provide safe, effective, and competent tactical medical care.
ECTM was envisioned in a bar, as most great ideas are. SWAT Doctor Scott Whyte and Army Warrant Officer Danny Devlin knew there was a gap between the military active shooter medical training and civilian disaster response medical training, and the two set out to fill that gap. Over the course of two years, the dynamic duo made a business plan and teamed up with St. Mary's Hospital to bring this plan to life. ECTM is now in the business of teaching vital life-saving techniques to all walks of life, including:
